The light freed from the Twilight Realm infused Link's sword, pushing back Zant's dark powers. Even the guardian deity of the Twilight Realm acknowledged Link as a hero. Link then confronted Zant in the Palace of Twilight. Midna reclaimed the Fused Shadow from Zant and used the ancient powers of the Twilight to destroy him.[1]
