History

History includes information that is known to be corroborated by multiple sources across multiple valid sources. A key distinction between it and Lore is that Lore refers to items that may be legend or conveyed orally without additional corroboration. For example, The Great Deku Tree's version of the creation story should be regarded as legend while the Goddesses' version should be treated as historically accurate due to it being corroborated by all three Goddesses.

Subrosian can be found in some concept are and in limited locations within the Oracles Duology[citation needed]. The script is "Latin-like" in that is utilizes characters that appear directly or nearly alike those found in the Latin alphabet.

Oocca

Sky Writing is the ancient language of the Oocca[citation needed]. It's was found within the Sky Writing Book and deciphered by Shad. Deciphering the symbols was pivotal in activating the Dominion Rod, an ancient artifact that dates back to the founding of the kingdom.

Zonai

Runes

Zonai runes are the writing system of the Zonai who perished around the time of the founding of the kingdom[citation needed]. It can be found on their devices and structures through the Sky, Surface, and the Depths.

Hand Marks

Hand Marks are found only in a few places, primarily on Zonai Authentication Crests and on the tapestries in the throne room in Ancient Hyrule Castle. Their purpose is unknown, however, Tauro observed that the Zonai Runes and Hand Marks seem to correlate in a number of ways[citation needed].

Koholint Script

Within the Armos Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, a mural depicting the Wind Fish, an owl, and an unknown script can be found. The script does not appear to be cohesive or to have any meaning. There are two versions of this mural, and the script difers between versions of the game.
