Unplaced
History includes information that is known to be corroborated by multiple sources across multiple valid sources. A key distinction between it and Lore is that Lore refers to items that may be legend or conveyed orally without additional corroboration. For example, The Great Deku Tree's version of the creation story should be regarded as legend while the Goddesses' version should be treated as historically accurate due to it being corroborated by all three Goddesses.
The Legend of Zelda series features a diverse set of symbols, images, and visual motifs, presented in various forms. This appendix presents an organized collection of different iconographs along with information relating to real world references or inspirations.

Koholint Script
Within the Armos Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, a mural depicting the Wind Fish, an owl, and an unknown script can be found. The script does not appear to be cohesive or to have any meaning. There are two versions of this mural, and the script difers between versions of the game.
