Ancient Robots

The Ancient Robots were a group that were co-inhabitants of the Lanayru Desert before it was re-settled by the Gerudo, when it became the Gerudo Desert. The purpose by which the robots were created is unknown, but their functions in the region indicate that they exist to aid with tasks ranging from mining Timeshift Stone, to operating the Shipyard, and even acting as the crew of ships.

Models

The LD-301 series robots were designed to look like a clay figurine with a heavy emphasis on giving them a non-threatening design^[1].
