Summary
The Master Sword was forged during the Era of the Goddess Hylia[1]. The blade originally started as the Goddess Sword. After going through multiple changes, culminating with the sword transmuting completely into the True Master Sword. The Master Sword stands as a unique blade in the world, often referred to as the sword that seals the darkness. Its sacred strength has waned due to the assault by the gloom beneath Hyrule Castle.
