== Summary ==
The Goddesses, Din, Nayru, and Farore are were responsible for creating the world. During the events of {{Game|Echoes of Wisdom}}, the Goddesses explain that they created the world to contain {{Entity|Null}}, a being with an all consuming greed and selfish desire to return everything to the empty, tranquil void that it existed in. The account of creation has comes from several sources, through myths passed on by the inhabitants of the world, and by the Goddesses and Null themselves.

At the end of the [[Lore/The Creation Myth|creation myth]], the Goddesses left behind and entrusted {{Deity|Hylia}} with several artifacts, such as the {{Artifact|Triforce}}, a crest for each Goddess, and the {{Artifact|Secret Stones}}<ref>The Chronology of Hyrule, The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia (2011)</reF><ref>Timeline, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Masterworks.</reF>.
