The Isle of the Goddess was an island comprised of land that came from Sealed Grounds after Demise was sealed. It featured a spiral shape on the bottom and a flat top where the considerable statue of Hylia. It remained above the Cloud Barrier at the end of the conflict with Demise until he was defeated entirely, after which the island descended back to the surface in its original place, completing the missing part of the entryway vestibule into of the Temple of Hylia.
While descending, the island can be seen rotating slowly, which matches the descriptions of the ascent of Zonai Sky Islands provided in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Masterworks[citation needed], raising questions about whether the mechanism involved in moving Sky Islands between the Surface and Sky are shared.
