First Chronological Appearance
First Game Appearance
The Island Lomei Labyrinth is one of three massive structures in Hyrule. The labyrinths are named after Lomei[1][2], but it's not specified if the name Lomei refers to a person, group, or an older name for the lands they inhabit.

It is said that until the guardian of this labyrinth offered guidance, a soul would be set to wander these halls. Perhaps this was the room where those dishonest with themselves were judged...where the guardian of this place weighed the courage of a soul.

Each are incredibly complex in design and present harsh environments, which make them very difficult to explore. That said, they may contain important ancient relics, so it would be best to send out a dedicated survey team here.” - Zelda, Bearing the Name South Lomei, Zelda Notes, 2025
- ↑ “The North Lomei Labyrinth is a harsh environment and an unsurprisingly labyrinthine structure... It has high walls but is otherwise unlike most fortifications. It did once hold an ancient relic meant for the bearer of the sword that seals the darkness, so perhaps it was a trial or test of some kind? I may just have to ask Link to investigate...” - Zelda, Bearing the Name North Lomei, Zelda Notes, 2025
