Throughout the depths, various statues sit atop carved pedestals, displaying a similar style as other Sheikah relics that were inspired by pottery from the Jōmon period in Japan[1]. Four of the five statues represent the style of known groups, which are the Gerudo, Zora, Gorons, and Rito. The fifth statue type is suspected to depict a Mogma or Geru, but there has been no official confirmation.

The determination that the statues are depictions of Sages is derived from the internal asset names for each statue. All contain the label "Wiseman", a common English localization moniker for the Sages.
